REGISTERED ASSOCIATE CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (#98998) SUPERVISED BY VINODHA JOLY
If you or your child is struggling, you may be experiencing the disappointment of unmet expectations or fear about the future. You may be stuck in painful relationship patterns or struggling with inner conflict, anxiety, and perfectionism. Perhaps you have found it difficult to prioritize your own needs, or feel blocked by burnout or emotional overwhelm.
It is painful to feel like things have gone off course, but the discomfort of what is not working can guide us toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and the parts of ourselves in need of attention, compassion and healing.
As a depth psychotherapist for adults, teens, and children, my goal is to foster an accepting and playful environment where your whole self is welcomed. By listening together to what emerges through your thinking, intuition, dreams, and feelings in your body, we can begin to understand your needs and support you in accessing more satisfying ways of living.
I completed my Master’s in Social Work at Smith College and Postgraduate Fellowship training at Access Institute for Psychological Services in San Francisco. My therapeutic orientation integrates relational, psychoanalytic/ psychodynamic approaches, family systems theory, and mindfulness. It is also informed by my own personal experiences of healing and growth through psychotherapy.
Some areas of focus my clients seek support with include:
Life transitions
Relationship issues
Relational and childhood trauma
Anxiety
Depression
Self-esteem
Gender and sexual identity
Seeking meaning and purpose
Feeling “stuck” or creatively blocked.
I am currently accepting new clients. My regular fee is $150 for a 50-minute session. I reserve a few sliding scale slots for those who cannot afford my full fee.
